I used one of Ringo's lines today. Twice. On two separate occassions today, people mentioned the fact the Bob Dylan is playing this weekend in Aspen.
I said, "Well to quote Ringo Starr after seeing Dylan recently....'ahh so that's Blowin' in the Wind'."
and of course I said Ringo part in that fake Liverpudlian Yellow Submarine voice....which of course isn't how he sounds...but it's how people think he sounds.

George like Dylan because Bob couldn't sing either. Porgie appreciated Dylan's simple song structures with deep, sometimes cryptic lyrics and how he could effortlessly steal old songs and make them his own. George became pretty good at rewriting other songs.
Dylan had street cred...George wanted that same respect more than being a celebrity.
