Re: Ringo is the Greatest!
that stuff John and Yoko were hooked on that caused a lack of ability and motivation and eventually end The Beatles. Never touch the stuff.

Re: Ringo is the Greatest!
Here is a short review from my friend Ricky the part time Moondog. He sent me this as an e-mail!
Been listening to Mr. Starkey's Y Not album tonight (thanks to MySpace). And I've got to say, I think it might just be one of his best records. I like the production - the songs aren't cluttered. There's room for the music to breathe, and for the players to stretch out a little.
I also like the fact that the instruments sound real, and not overly processed. The guitars are full and gritty. There's a retro feel to it, but it doesn't sound dated. And on some of the songs, there's a swingin' funky vibe. Very cool. Very lively. And I really dig the long instrumental outro to "Time".
Does Rangworm play drums on every song? I think there are some tasty fills in them there songs.
Maybe Rangworm should have started producing himself years ago.
Here's a video of Richie getting a tabla lesson from the girl that played on his album (the credits are humorous, too).

Since I'm sure you've got the CD, what is your considered opinion?
Awaiting your review,
Ricketay
