just kidding about the Mel Brooks classic.

I would have to make a list of great Westerns I enjoy.

Tombstone has to be the one I am most fascinated with. Kevin Costner did a reasonable job with the Wyatt Earp movie.
FYI. All ballistics in Clint Eastwood westerns are accurate to the time period.

Re: Doc Waldo and the Great American Western

Heard Clint always filmed his Westerns in the Autumn, for the scenery I rectum.

How do you pick favorite westerns?

TV I remember the classics you all mention well. Also enjoyed 'High Chaperal', 'Big Valley', Paradise (Lee Horsley), 'Alias Smith and Jones' was interesting. I am forgetting many. Maverick with James Garner was groovy. The Bride always loved 'The Rifleman'.

All Clint Eastwood and John Waynes. 'The Shootist' was the perfect vehicle for John Wayne to wind up his career with even though he intended to make more movies but he got to sick.

The Trinity movies were good. 'My Name is Trinity' and 'Trinity is still my Name'!

Of course the Magnificent Seven, so many!
