Argentina?
...or where did Hitler go? If you've studied the remastered Sgt. Pepper cd booklet, the pictures tell a different story than the words. I've never believed Peter Blake claiming credit for obvious Ringo choices. But what about three choices that the booklet credit to John...Jesus, Ghandi & Hitler. Supposedly all were dismissed as too controversial. No evidence that there was ever a cut-out, statue or wax figure of Jesus ever procured for the photo session. Ghandi was included, but Sir Joe Lockwood had him airbrushed out. Hitler? Some pics show the Hitler cut-out off to the side. Other pics show Hitler in the row directly behind where the Beatles would stand. But no Johnny Weismuller, who does show up on the cover. It would appear that controversy had nothing to do with the disappearance of Hitler. Rather that he would have been completely obscured by the Fabs. So, his cut-out was replaced by the Johnny Weismuller cut-out, which appears to be about a foot taller than the Hitler cut-out.
