new issue of Guitar World
I just bought it because it has Sgt Pepper on the cover and purports to have a full track-by-track interview with Geoff Emerick. I haven't read it yet. Anybody know if it's any good, or did I waste another 6 bucks on a lousy magazine that doesn't live up to its cover? (Yes, that's happened to me before - first time was in 1976 when they had Paul and Linda on the cover of the Rolling Stone and i shelled out the lousy 75 cents or whatever up at the Drug Mart only to rush home and open it and find out that Paulie had just as much to say in the magazine as he had on his latest album - NOTHING! - I sure wish I could get those three quarters back - that Drug Mart owes me for that one!)

A few years back Ringo did an interview with 'US' magazine. He said they talked about alot of things but they edited it down to just the stuff about the Beatles and it kinda ticked him offt!

and other rock stars of that era that were in magazines, they always had something of substance to say.

reminds me of a recent R.S. I stopped subscribing so when I saw a cover of classic Pink Floyd on the cover I bought it only to be disappointed at the article. Syd Barrett history and the war between David and Rodger. How many times do you have to write the same B.S ? I was hoping it would be an announcement the band was making new music.
