Books
after having this one for a couple of years and ignoring it, have decided to give it a go-The Beatles by Bob Spitz.
First interesting fact that I did not know-John Lennon had a sister that was given up for adoption and taken to Scandanavia.

Re: Books
he had two half sisters-Julia and Jackie?-I from Dykins as the father. But I guess before those two there was the one who was given up for adoption in 1945-Victoria.
This is where the book says "she was never heard from again", however after googling around a bit I found this-Victoria became Ingrid Pedersen and was later a nurse

Re: Books
I liked that book. I remember starting it in the waiting room of the emergency ward of the hospital. My wife's migranes were so bad that night it warrented a visit. I was worried about her and disappointed at the same time because I had planned on seeing Project/Object that evening. Anyway, I read the book while my wife was medicated and waiting for a doctor. 5 hours later we left. She was dosed on Topomax and I had read most of The Beatles. Not a bad read. It was good in that it was from a historical perspective and not biased. I did like the account on Pete Best, who by the way happens to be appearing at Abbey Road On The River in Louisville this May. See ya'll there.
